MIRC
MIRC (MIRI INTERNET RESOURCE CENTRE) starts its operation
on 15 Januari 1998. It is under the supervision of SiliconNet
Technologies Sdn. Bhd. a wholly owned by the Sarawak
Information Systems Sdn. Bhd.
Its purpose is to introduce internet to the community
of Miri citizens. Internet is beginning
to become a very important tools for us in everyday life. As for now, there
is no charges for accessing the internet in MIRC.
It is situated in Civic Centre of Miri, inside of
the Public Library of Miri
.
Its operation hours are between 9.00 a.m - 5.00 p.m
on Monday to Friday and 9.00 a.m - 12.45 p.m on Saturday
Within
our operation hours every users can sign up and have 30 minutes of free
surfing.
