| As you all know that the
Sarawak Branch annual event - the MRCS Volunteers' Recognition Night will
be held on June 2, 2002 in Kuching and this will coincide with the 3 days
Youth Convention. |
| We hope that this MRCS Convention
will provide an avenue for members to interact and to share information
and experience for the advancement of the Red Crescent Movement. |
| As the invitation for this
MRCS Convention is also extended to our sister Branches in Sabah and West
Malaysia, we hope that such gesture will enhance external integration and
also provide an opportunity to witness and appreciate the great contributions
and achievements of our fellow members. |
| In this regard, may I urge
those members who have yet to register to do so without further delay. |

| Welcome to the first Malaysian
Red Crescent Society Sarawak Branch Convention in conjunction with the
Volunteers Recognition Night 2002 |
| My Committee, Stampin Chapter,
takes pride to invite you to a much value- added Convention which aims
interacting, learning, sharing and participating with fellow Red Crescent
members throughout the whole country. On top of it, a significant programme
encompasses a Motivation seminar, Leadership skills, Management skills
and other educational items are conducted. |
| Besides being the first
Convention, an approximate 200 delegates from Kem Kenyalang 2002, some
coming as far as Germany, Finland and Asia-Pacific regions are participating.
It is a convention unique and exciting. |
| A journey of a thousand
miles begins with a single step, Stampin Chapter has began the step, please
take your first step and walk into this Convention where we reinforce ourselves
to the basic values and volunteerism of the Red Crescent Movement. In this
Convention, let us share fellowship and networking together. Let us learn
together. Let us get together. Let us Make A Difference. |

| Greetings from MRCS
Stampin Chapter, |
| It's with great honor that
MRCS
Stampin is hosting this first MRCS Convention 2002 in conjunction
with Volunteers Recognition Night 2002 for MRCS Sarawak Branch. |
| We look forward to welcome
all Malaysian Red Crescent Members as well as international Red Cross and
Red Crescent delegates to the city of Kuching to attend this significant
event. |
| My Organizing Committee
is working hard in putting together a fantastic program,
ranging from motivational talk, leadership seminar, effective fund raising
strategies and Red Cresent educational sessions. We have invited internationally
renown speakers as well speakers from ICRC, IFRC and our MRCS National
Headquarter. So, seize this opportunity to be part of this convention. |
