2009
 ( i ) SFWI wbuilding for Miri / Bintulu was declared open by YB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr. George Chan Hong Nam representing YAB Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud, Sarawak Chief Minister on Tuesday, 5th May 2009 coincide with W.I. Day. Yang amat Berbahagia Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajah Norkiah, Patron of SFWI and YAM Her Royal Crown Princess of Pahang, President of W.I. Pahang among the VIP attending.
  ( ii ) SFWI will celebrate 47 years anniversary and the event will be held on 5th May 2009. This year the event will be hosted by Miri Division.
  ( iii ) The 9th Area Conference for South East Asia and Far East 2009 will be held on 9th May till 12th May 2009 at Hotel Hyatt, Kuantan, Pahang. SFWI will send 5 delegates. Other members are encouraged to attend as observers.
  ( v ) State meetings on 24 - 27 June 2009 will be held at SFWI Headquarters.
     
2008
 ( i ) WI Day Celebration 5th May 2008 was celebrated in moderate scale in Kuching by giving donations to the members. 20 recipients received the contribution.
  ( ii ) Her Royal Highness the Sultanah of Pahang, Sultanah Kalsom visited SFWI headquarters on Friday 17th October 2008.
     
2007
 ( i ) WI Day was celebrated in Kuching and Limbang.the launching was held in Limbang on 7th April 2007, and officiated by Yang Amat Berbahagia Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajah Norkiah, Patron of SFWI.
     
  ( ii ) SFWI 45th Anniversary Dinner was held on 5th May 2007 in Kuching and attended by Yang Amat Berbahagia Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajah Norkiah, Patron of SFWI, YB Dato Sri William Mawan ak Ikom, Minister for Social and Urbanisation, invited guests, members of NGOs and members of SFWI throughout Sarawak.
     
  ( iii ) Veteran members of SFWI were awarded with SFWI Gold Medal for their contribution to SFWI at SFWI Gala Dinner on 5th May 2007 in conjunction with SFWI Day. The recipients were Yang amat Berbahagia Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajah Norkiah, YBhg Datin Mary Masing, Madam Kathleen Impi, Madam Hajah Mariam Abdul Hamid and Miss Elizabeth O'Kelly.
  ( iv ) SFWI Carnival marked the end of the 45th Anniversary celebrations. Activities such as aerobicthon, foodfair and handicraft demonstration are conducted. Launching of the "Recipe Book SFWI" was the highlight and officiated by Yang Amat Berbahagia Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajah Norkiah, Patron of SFWI.
  ( v ) SFWI organized "Seminar for Women" for NGOs, community leaders and others in Kuching.
     
2006
 ( i ) The anniversary celebration kicked off as early as November 2006 with the official launching of SFWI Green Earth Programme by the Patron Yang amat Berbahagia Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajah Norkiah. The year-long programme is organized ny the SFWI Development Sub-committee in collaboration with Sarawak Agriculture Department.
