AN INTRODUCTION TO THE

UNITED STATES GRADUATES ASSOCIATION (USGA) SARAWAK

The USGA is a non-profit organisation with membership open to Sarawak residents who are graduates of U.S. universities or have completed courses of study at institutions of higher education in the United States of America.

The Association seeks to foster professional and social contacts among members; to provide an avenue for US graduates to interact with and serve society and promote acceptance and recognition of the American educational system in Sarawak.

The specific objectives of the Association are:

1. To establish a network of contacts for all United States graduates in Sarawak.
2. To familiarise the general public with the value of the U.S. educational system.
3. To contribute towards the continuous development of Sarawak.
4. To organise quality educational, social and recreational activities.

The USGA was formed in 1988 and has more than 200 life members to-date.
