The St. Joseph's Old Boys' Association was formed in 1970, with Tan Sri Datuk William Tan, as Patron. The first President was the late Datuk Polycarp Sim, who held the position for 10 years. The St. Joseph's Old Boys' Association acts as a link between former students and their alma mater. One of its most notable contributions to present day Josephians is the Old Josephians' Tertiary Education Trust Fund, which gives interest free loans to deserving applicants. Since its inauguration in 1982, over 30 students have benefitted from the fund.
