Philosophy

Every child is a unique and special creation of God, having the potential to learn, to achieve and to excel. He deserves respect, care and understanding as he is guided towards becoming a person of upright character, who respects and cares for himself and others. The school will strive to provide the ideal environment and opportunities necessary for the total development of its pupils.

Vision

In line with the National Philosophy of Education, the philosophy of the school and its motto "Ora Et Labora" (Prayer and Work), St. Joseph's School, Kuching, aims at providing an optimum school environment which shall promote the total human development of its pupils in the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social and physical dimensions. It aspires to nurture and develop the human potential of its pupils so as to enable them to live fully and contribute positively to the well-being of self, family, school, society and nation.
