Introduction
Membership is open to all people regardless of race, colour, creed, nationality or political belief.
A person may join the Society as :
Categories of membership

Ordinary member (Adult who may wish to serve in any area of Red Crescent
activity or who prefers to give only financial support) |

Life member (Adult who pays the required subscription for life) |
|
Voluntary Aid Detachment member (Adult who would like to undergo training
to serve actively) |
|
Youth member (Secondary school student) |
|
Link member (Primary school student of eight years old and above) |
Those interested to serve are invited to join us. Get the original form at our office during office
hours at the above address.

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE CONTINUES
During 1999 we're embarked on a membership drive with a TARGET: To
recruit 3,000 new members by June 2000. As at June 2000, we succeeded in recruiting 712 members,
far short of our target.
However, the drive continues ...
As seen from the many pictures of activities in this website, there are many ways that a person can
contribute to Society by being a Red Crescent member. So why not call us right now at our Miri Headquarters

membership drive.
 The Public can join the Red Crescent as :-

a. a contributing member - contributing minimum of RM10.00 annually or |

b. an active member who have interest in the following area/s:
- Blood Donor Recruitment
- Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Response
- Teaching of First Aid, CPR and HOme Nursing
- Providing care for the under-previleged
- Youth Services
- Dissemination of IHL
- Community Service
- Information and Public Relation
- Provide Clerical/Secretarial support
- Translation & Publication of RC materials
- Fund Raising and others
