The effort undertaken by the Sarawak Branch in the Dissemination of IHL was
the organising of seminars and talks given to members of government
departments, Armed Forces, Police and the legal profession.

An instructor course on IHL was also held in 1994 facilitated by the ICRC.

At the school level, Education in Red Cross and Red Crescent which curriculum
covers the birth of the RC, organisational  structure, components and functions
of the international movement and the RC Fundammental Principles are being
taught to the Youth members to instill greater understanding of the Movement
and its Ideals so as to generate a stronger spirit of humanitarism and volunteerism.
