"To contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility, enterpreneurship and fellowship necessary to create positive change".
Its success is reflected in the individual achievements of its members and members project conducted by national and local Junior Chambers nationwide. The projects undertaken are a benefit to the community and are a practical result of the skills developed through individual and management training programs.
Membership and the right to participate in programs are available to those aged between 18 to 40 through individual application to one of the member national organizations affiliated to Junior Chamber International (JCI)
* The membership is limited to young people between the ages 18-40. When a member’s age goes beyond 40, he/she will become an Old Boy. This age restriction is perhaps the most distinguishing feature of Junior Chamber organization.
* The term of office for all officers is one calendar year starting
from the 1st day of January to 31st day of December. Through the experience
of holding various executive positions, a person will build up self-discipline
and be able to apply those results to his/her individual activities.
